FileDivider is a freeware file splitting/merging utility. You can divide by a specified fragment size, or by a specified number of fragments. You can merge fragments from multiple discs to a single file.
You've probably seen many on the internet already, but as of version 2.0, FileDivider has a unique feature not found in other file splitters called Disk Space Compensation (DSC). DSC allows you to divide files or merge fragments even if you have no disk space available. This can be a life saver if you need disk space, but have numerous files that are way too big for storage media, and would take forever copying them to a network PC or flash drive.
Keep in mind that the current release of FileDivider is a pre-release version. WinSimple isn't responsible for loss of data, or data corruption that could occur when using this program.
